Frequently asked questions
A few of the questions I hear most often. If yours isn't here, I'd love to answer it personally — just reach out.
How far in advance should I book a planner?
For full-service wedding planning, I recommend reaching out 9–12 months before your date, though I've successfully planned weddings on a shorter timeline. For corporate events, 2–3 months' notice is usually enough for a mid-size event; larger conferences benefit from 4–6 months.
Do you only work with clients in the tri-state area?
I'm based in the tri-state area and primarily serve New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, though I'm available for destination and out-of-town events by request.
What's the difference between full-service and day (month)-of planning?
Full-service planning means I'm involved from the very beginning — venue selection, vendor sourcing, design, and budget, all the way through your event day. Day (month)-of management is for clients who've done their own planning and want a professional to take over the final details and handle execution, starting four to six weeks before the event.
Can I bring in vendors I've already booked?
Absolutely. I'm happy to coordinate with vendors you've already chosen. I'll manage communication and logistics with them just as closely as I would with anyone from my own network.
Do you handle corporate events as well as social?
Yes. Alongside weddings and social celebrations, I manage corporate events including client dinners, conferences, product launches, and leadership offsites — bringing the same hospitality-grade standard to every event type.
What happens during the consultation?
It's a complimentary 20–30 minute conversation — by phone, in person, or video — where we talk through your vision, guest count, budget, and the details that matter most, and I answer any questions about how I work. There's no obligation; it's simply a chance to see if we're the right fit.
Still have a question? I read every message personally and respond within one business day.
